We just had to share the complete story behind Arthur & Margaret Boulter’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary Crate told to us by their daughter Diana Boulter:
‘I thought you might like to see the Plantabox I made up for my parents’ Diamond Wedding. They LOVED it. I can’t tell you how many people have been round to admire it. Dad’s 87 and Mum is 82. I made a little notice to fit inside your wooden sign, tied a balloon to the crate and delivered it, very quietly, as a total surprise, at 5am, outside their house on “the day”. As you can see, it looks gorgeous. I chose plants which Mum specially likes (she was a florist for 30 years, but her eyesight is not so good these days). Her favourites include the pink bellis, and I thought that “forget-me-nots” would be an appropriate sentiment for sixty years of marriage. The black writing on cream background is fairly easy for Mum to read. They were tickled pink by the “Est. 16 March 1957” line! I haven’t heard my Dad laughing so much in ages! Your box was delivered on the same day they received a personalised message from Her Majesty The Queen – so they had a perfect day and were very happy.’
Congratulations Arthur and Margaret, from all at Plantabox!
